Vision

While a senior executive with The Coca-Cola Company, Jerry founded JSW Consulting, LLC, in July 2005.  As a respected leader and executive he was fielding requests to assist other executives from non-competing firms who were confronting challenging business issues within their own organization.  JSW Consulting, LLC, became the avenue for Jerry to provide valuable advise in strategic areas to such clients.  In May, 2012, Jerry chose to retire from The Coca-Cola Company after twenty-four great years in order to dedicate even more time and attention to the needs of select clients.

The Vision for JSW Consulting, LLC has always been very simple.  In forming the firm, Jerry chose to use his own initials to identify the company because he believes that all work must meet the highest standards of excellence and integrity worthy of his name being on every project.  This vision sets the tone and commitment for each client engagement.

Throughout his career, Jerry has worked with a multitude of consulting firms which shaped his own approach.  While some were effective, his observation was that most consultants "moved into the Company office,"  spent weeks interviewing the workers, then re-ran these insights in the form of a thick Power Point presentation to management which included pages of charts, graphs, and matrices.  The work felt generic, drew from a huge library of other client information, and was extremely expensive.  Once the consultants left, the books found a home in filing cabinets or on bookshelves and 18 months later the Company had mixed success in executing the plans.

JSW Consulting focuses on the Problem that the client is trying to solve immediately.  Jerry, personally, leads the engagement and brings the necessary resources to help the client solve the Problem.  Jerry also believes in the power of the people who are members of the client organization.  By creating and driving a collaborative process with the existing leadership team, he is able to build sustainable skills that will enable the client to own their own future.  This concept leads to greater focus and more effective business solutions within the client's leadership team.

Throughout his career, Jerry has excelled in simplifying complicated situations, identifying opportunities for growth, evaluating strategic options, and enlisting the entire team in executing the strategic plan.
